In "The Rockpile", John and Roy do not always receive the same treatment from the adults in their family. Have you ever felt that you or someone else in your family was treated differently from everyone else? What caused the difference, and do you think it was fair? Explain.

There has been numerous times where I'd felt treated differently by adults and or others. Specifically I remember this one instance in which I'd held a grudge for multiple years before I'd found out the reason was mental, I had  been in a middle school mixed with troubled kids and we had our own number of mentally disabled kids, there was this instance where I hadn't known the kid was troubled or  disabled and he seemed to be ever teacher's favorite student even when troubling other people. I tried numerous times to appease this one older lady, she was near her 80s and was a mean lady. But somehow he always seemed to cheer her up and brighten her mood. It wasn't until I left the school I learned the kid was dealing with issues at home and he was really nice.

Summary: We finished reading the story of the Rock pile and began answering the questions near the end of the story

Reflection: I felt weirdly compassionate over the treatment of John, he seems like a fair child that just needs more attention.
