I believe I'm decently confident in identifying different types of claims in texts, the easiest part of today's activity was reading and understanding the perspective of the writer. Today's lesson helped me understand the difference between claims when they text outright had many valid points and clearly written statements. The author made deliberate choices to write in this manor and I believe they were right to do so without making the subject boring or just an info dump. I can clearly understand and believe the author when he makes these credited quotes from professors.

Summary: today we analyzed an article that discussed the different pros and cons of three year and four year bachelor degrees while also writing claims and opposing claims.

Reflection: The article was pretty interesting but was ultimately easy to highlight and find claims.
